About Us

Who We Are and What We do

Kintak Enterprises Limited is a small company that specialises in website design and maintenance, writing, speech writing, editorial and associated services and voiceovers.

In association with our business partners WordMart PR & Media Consultancy and Ron Baker Editorial Services, we are also able to offer additional services including, but not limited to, media presentations, press conferences, corporate communications, and media production in Hong Kong and China.

Our Philosophy

We believe small is not only beautiful but also cost-effective and efficient. Rather than maintain a large and expensive permanent staff and office space to house them, which would have to be reflected in our fees to clients, we prefer to work with a select team of independent specialists on whom we can call as and when a client's project requires their particular skills. In this way we are able to keep costs to a minimum while providing a highly-personalised and individually-focused service.

Our Managing Director

Norman WingroveOur Managing Director is Norman Wingrove, who has lived in Hong Kong for more than 35 years as a broadcaster, writer and website designer.

In both 1989 and 1990 Norman won gold medals in the editorial category at the New York International Radio Festival. For three years he produced and co-hosted with computer consultant Keith Cameron The Electric Office, a nightly 12-minute radio programme on information technology (IT) on Hong Kong Commercial Radio. This was believed to be the first programme of its kind in the world.

In 1990-91 Norman was General Manager of Hong Kong ITWeek, a two-week (!) festival of IT exhibitions and events introducing computer technology to the community at large. After a spell with research firm Graham Mead Associates, producing IT and telecom industry reports, he set up Kintak Enterprises Ltd to provide website design, editorial, writing and related services.

From 1994 until 1999 Norman wrote for each edition of Research Technology Management, the bi-monthly journal of the Industrial Research Institute Inc. of New York. Other organisations and publications for which he has written include Hong Kong Trade Development Council, South China Morning Post, Asia Technology and Asia Magazine.

In November 1995 Norman setup and, until April 1999, edited the monthly newsletter and website of HKTUG, the Hong Kong Telecommunications Users Group, which advises the Hong Kong Government on telecommunications issues. From 1978 until 1990 he was Hong Kong representative of London Broadcasting Company Wan Lok-fu(LBC) and its subsidiary Independent Radio News and reported for them on Hong Kong, China and East Asia.
